The Chilin Foundation (Chilin) promotes cultural and educational events, hoping to foster individuals' quality and their participation in building a better society. We provide our spaces to the general public to hold events, such as forums, panel, and concerts, as long as the events follow Chilin's policy and do not interfere with Chilin's classes and events.

1. Who can apply

a. Educational, public welfare, and not-profit organizations (if interested in collaboration, please indicate) 
b. Any groups composed of the general public.

2. Required documents: Please submit the following documents and contact Chilin one month prior to the event via phone or (e)mail.

a. Event proposal
b. Brief introduction of the organization

Upon receiving the required documents, Chilin will review them and decide whether to grant the offer.


3. Time, Rooms, Capacity

a. Time: Tue. - Sat. 9:00am - 5:00pm (Chilin's operating hours; Closed on national holidays)
b. Rooms: Lecture Hall (1F of Chilin Educational Center) , Classrooms (3F of Chilin School of Social Development), Dorms, and Auditorium (Chilin Annex). For equipment rental, please contact Chilin.
c. Capacity: Lecture Hall 40 max., Classrooms & Dining Hall 50 max., Auditorium 170 max.

For educational, public welfare, and not-profit organizations looking for collaboration, co-organization, etc. of an event, in which the values correspond to those of Chilin's, please send us an application for the Lecture Hall at 1F of Chilin Educational Center, and we will offer the room free of charge.

6. Terms & Policy
  1. To prevent infections of COVID-19, please measure participants' body temperature, advise them to wear a face mask and keep it on throughout the event.
  2. The event should follow what is indicated in the proposal. If an applicant fails to do so, Chilin has the right to decline collaboration. 
  3. While using the rooms, please maintain the order. Drinking, eating, and smoking are not allowed in Classrooms, Lecture Hall, and Auditorium. Participants are welcome to use the pantry (water only). Dining Hall is a space for having food, and cooking is not allowed.
  4. Please do not install any screens, posters, curtains, frames, etc., and do not change the power/wires, overload or modify the equipment. No tapes or nails are allowed.
  5. During the event, please do not occupy hallways, exhibition rooms, the lounge, or any public areas without the consent of Chilin.
  6. After the event, please clean up and return the room and the equipment to what and where they are before. Please take away any flower blaskets and trash. The return procedure is complete only after Chilin administrators have confirmed that there is no damages or lost. 
  7. Chilin has the right to ask for pro-rated compensation if there are damages or lost as a result of the event held.
  8. Applicants should be mindful of and responsible for issues regarding safety protection, emergency, public order, and insurance, etc.
